Capital Projects


Annual Capital Outlay Project:

Bemus Point CSD includes a capital outlay project of $100,000 in the annual budget approved by district residents each May.  Work is completed prior to June 1 with state aid paid in the year of expenditure.

The 2019-2020 project includes mechanical updates to the HVAC system at Maple Grove.  The project has been approved by SED and bids have been awarded.  Construction is scheduled to be completed by May 8, 2020.


Bemus Point Elementary School Capital Project
:

This $2,385,000 project was approved by the voters on May 21, 2019.

This project requires no tax levy increase and will address maintenance and renovation items in the elementary building including:

  • Replace water distribution piping in 1953 wing
  • Replace water heater and remove heat exchanger
  • Replace existing boilers
  • Replace/upgrade select air handling equipment
  • Replace/upgrade unit ventilators

 
Smart Schools Bond Act:

The District is still awaiting approval of the Phase One-Security Camera investment plan.  Upon approval, advertisements for bids will be published.  Additional information can be found through the menu to the left.
