Dear Bemus Point Community,

The Bemus Point Central School District, along with Erie 2 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES, is conducting voluntary needs assessment surveys among students in grades 5 to 12, teachers and staff, and families to better understand the needs of students, families, and staff in our region. The goal of these surveys is to create a regional dataset that will help identify specific plans for funding opportunities.

The survey will be provided to everyone during the week of May 23rd. These surveys will focus on the following topics:

  • Social/Emotional well-being and mental health
  • Program alignment between school districts and E2CCB
  • Career/Educational pathways for life beyond high school
  • Equity and inclusion
  • Technology, tools and resources for students

The data that is provided may also be used by the district to better understand the current needs of students and implement strategies to better meet those needs. The only people who will see this information are authorized personnel in the district and at E2CCB.

The links to each of the surveys can be found here and on the district website:

The completion of this survey is a VOLUNTARY decision on your part. We encourage you to participate so that the needs and concerns of our school district are added to the regional collection. Your feedback will allow us to take better  advantage of future grant funded opportunities.

With Respect,
Joseph Reyda, Superintendent of Schools
